Dr Evans joined Reed Elsevier Properties in September 2009 as Scientific Affairs Director working closely with the chemistry and life sciences teams within Elsevier. Previously he was an Executive Publisher at Elsevier managing the Toxicology, Cancer and Mutagenesis portfolio of journals. Prior to publishing he worked in cheminformatics for Oxford Molecular and then MDL. He has a BSc and PhD in Chemistry from the University of Bath in the UK.
