Institute of Doctoral Schools, University Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris, France
Paule Biaudet is originally educated in biophysics and biology. After a PhD and a post-doc she joined University Pierre and Marie Curie (UPMC) as an assistant-Professor (UPMC).
Rapidly concerned by the professional future of the students, she completed her education by human resources and educational sciences. With this double background she moved gradually to career development activities.
Entrusted to establish a dedicated structure for doctoral students, she develops training programmes for the young researchers and their supervisors. Paule works also closely with companies and recruiters, organising events and seminars to strenghten mutual knowledge and promote assets and competences of young researchers.
UPMC is very involved at the European level on doctoral studies issues and is an active member of university associations like EUA, LERU, UNICA or Vitae.
Paule contributes actively to these European activities, both as an invited speaker and as an experienced trainer.
