Research tpic: "Analysis of the effect of different functional ingredients on obesity and diabetes"
In 2006 I got the Bachelor Degree in Food Science and Technology and since then, I have been working in the group “Nutrition and Obesity” in the University of the Basque Country. The main research line of the group has been focused on the analysis of the effect of different functional ingredients on obesity and diabetes. Personally, I have tested the effect of several molecules (Conjugated Linoleic Acid, Resveratrol, Quercetin, etc) on lipid and glucose metabolism in in vitro and in vivo models. In my opinion, attending to this Campus represents a perfect opportunity to learn new ideas, techniques and ways of working from brilliant minds. It is also a good place to present my work and learn from other´s opinion about it. I am sure it will definitely represent a perfect opportunity to progress in my career as a researcher.
