My name is Ángel González, and I am currently working as a post-doctoral researcher at the Chemical Engineering department. My current work is focused on microalgae and the elucidation and study of the involved metabolic pathways in the lipid overproduction, by means of high-throughput techniques and systems biology approaches at the level of transcriptomics, proteomics and metabolomics.

It would be of great interest to attend CEICS-Nobel Campus for me, in order to have the opportunity to discuss our ideas and our project with experts in the field of both molecular biology and chemistry. To have such a great opportunity to discuss our science with Nobel prize winners will allow us to enhance or perspectives and to be able to elucidate and validate our scientific purposes. On the other hand, science nowadays can only evolve with multidisciplinary teams and with projects that are developed with partners of different fields and countries. To be able to spend time discussing with such important researchers will enable us to unravel the needs of our projects in terms of partnerships and possible collaborations.
