Master student at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili
Research topic: Homogeneous Catalysis mechanism interpretations
I am a Master Student in Theoretical and Computational Chemistry at the University Rovira i Virgili, in Tarragona, Spain, and I am currently working in a research project regarding Homogeneous Catalysis mechanism interpretations. I obtained my License Degree at the Central University of Venezuela, during which I performed a thesis project concerning the interpretation of mechanisms in electrochemical reactions.
My scientific interests are focused on interpreting and predicting chemical reaction routes and mechanisms. Therefore, I’m planning to continue my professional formation by pursuing a doctoral project in Homogeneous Catalysis at the Institute of Chemical Research in Catalonia (ICIQ), and I’m deeply convinced that the Southern Catalonia Nobel Campus will contribute to enrich my formation. I believe that any interaction or advice from all these Laureates and experts on the field will have a profound impact in the perceptions and way of thinking of a novice researcher like me.
