PhD student at the IQS School of Engineering
Rsearch topic: Photobiology (Genetically encoded singlet oxygen production and photodynamic therapy)
When I finished my degree in chemistry I realized I wanted to know more in the bio field. I did a Masters in biotechnology and attended the first edition of the ESP Photobiology School. I decided to keep in the science world so I enrolled a PhD program in photobiology that has given me the chance to do top research in several recognized centres abroad, participate in science congresses, R+D projects and also have some experience in academics as teacher assistant.
As for me, the CEICS Nobel Campus represents an opportunity not to miss. I aim that the cocktel of Nobel Laureates together with young researchers represents a hotbed of ideas and inspiration for me and my scientific career. And I also see it as a gate to establish new contacts not only to future collaborations but also for potential friendship.
