I am a Food Engineer and also a Biotechnologist and I have an MSc in Nutrition and Metabolism. I am currently completing my PhD in Nutrigenomics in the Universitat Rovira i Virgili. The aim of my research is to understand, at a molecular level, how nutrition and some bioactive food compounds present constitutively in a Mediterranean diet, such as polyphenols or omega-3 fatty acids, might be important in modulating inflammatory and immune response.
In the future, I would like to continue improving my skills as a researcher, so, I consider CEICS Nobel Campus as a perfect occasion to exchange experiences and views as well as a great opportunity to share my scientific concerns, perspectives and to improve my knowledge.
