PhD student at the Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ)
Research Topic: Discovery of new transition metal--catalyzed reactions. " Synthesis of Phenols and Indenes via Intermolecular Gold(I)-- and Platinium(II)-- Catalyzed Cycloaddition 10"
Núria Huguet i Subiela graduated from the University of Valencia (Spain) in 2008 with an award for excellence and obtained her master in catalysis at Universitat Rovira i Virgili (Tarragona, Spain) in 2009 with the “extraordinary award”. She is currently a PhD student in the research group of Prof. Antonio M. Echavarren at the Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) working on the discovery of new transition metal--catalyzed reactions. In 2007--2008 she was in the group of Prof. Steven V. Ley as an Erasmus student and in 2011--2012 she spent four months working at Harvard University under the supervision of Prof. Tobias Ritter. Moreover, in November 2012 she will join BASF SE for a four months internship. 10 Golden Lines of motivation to attend Nobel Campus Nobel Campus is very unique congress which respect others since it focuses a lot more on direct contact with the participants and especially with the laureates, allowing us to acquire knowledge and experiences that cannot encounter by studying articles.
