She completed her undergraduate studies in chemistry at the Universidad Rovira i Virgili, Tarragona, in 2004. She is currently completing her PhD in the field of organocatalysis under the supervision of Prof. Sergio Castillón and Prof. Piet W. N. M. Van Leeuwen. Her research focused on the development of organocatalytic approaches for the synthesis of P-stereogenic phosphines, the study of asymmetric vinyl aziridines ring opening reaction and also she is currently working on the catalytic formation of vinyl oxetanes in the presence of ammonium chloride salts.
