I studied Chemistry at University Industrial of Santander (Colombia). In 2009 I received my Msc degree in highly specialized in plastics and rubbers at University Menéndez Pelayo International (Spain) where I worked on the Crosslinking of poly(vinyl alcohol) using functionalized gold nanoparticles. I am PhD Student at University Rovira i Virgili (Spain). In my PhD project I am preparing thermosets polymers with flame retardant properties from sunflower oil also I am interesting in synthesize new polymeric materials from renewable sources. I am very much interested to participate in the prestigious CEICS Nobel is a tremendous opportunity to get feedback on my PhD work from the internationally well recognized scientists and the event will allow me to interact with the six winners of the Nobel Prize in chemistry and learn from their different experiences in the field of chemistry.
