At present, I am working as a post-doctoral researcher in the Esteve-ICIQ Joint Unit at the Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ), wherein I am involved in the development of new chemical processes to obtain chemically new scaffolds that can generate new medicinal chemistry libraries. Previously, I have been studying topical and diverse areas of Organic Chemistry such as Molecular Recognition, Supramolecular Chemistry, and Organometallic Synthesis (at the ICIQ with Prof. P. Ballester and the University of Valladolid during my Ph.D.). As far as the CEICS Chemistry Campus Nobel is concerned, this symposium will be for me an excellent opportunity to interact with both young researches and Nobel Chemistry laureates in order to share our scientific knowledge during the panel sessions and round tables.
