I obtained the Master’s Degree in Chemistry in 2006 at the University of Trieste, presenting an experimental thesis entitled: “Synthesis and study of artificial ionophore based on amphipathic peptidic conjugatives”. After my graduation I worked one year in a project funded by ZAMBON GROUP S.p.A. aimed at the "Study of mechanisms of reactions of molecules used in the synthesis of fine chemicals". In 2010 I obtained the PhD defending a thesis titled: "Development of Chiral Nitrogen Ligands for Application in Homogeneous Catalysis", under the supervision of Prof. Fulvia Felluga and Co-tutor Dr. Barbara Milani at the University of Trieste. In 2010 I started a two years Research Fellow in a project entitled "Synthesis and evaluation of inhibitors of viral proteases and prolilpeptidasi" under the supervision of Dr. Federico Berti. I have particular experience in classic and enzymatic organic synthesis of optically pure compounds and their characterization, but I’m also interested in the preparation of metallic complexes and their application.

I’m interested in being an active part of Nobel Campus, because I think that this represents a unique opportunity to come into direct contact with some of the brightest minds of the contemporary chemistry with the round tables or seminars, and it is also an opportunity to exchange information with colleagues from other Countries. Project discussions with other researchers can afford to see the project itself under a new perspective and due to different backgrounds can lead to resolution of problems. Maybe establish some work relationship with other group could be also possible in that contest, surely this experience will enrich me both from the educational and scientific point of view and also from the human point of view.
