I am a third year PhD student in the group of Prof. Emilio Palomares at the Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia. My interests are centered on understanding key interfacial processes that determine device performances in organic solar cells through the application of photophysics and advanced surface science techniques such as non¬contact atomic force microscopy. I have had the fortune to spend divide part of my time atthe National Institute of Material Science in Japan, which has led us to some interestinginsights into the assembly and electrical properties of funtional molecules on metal oxidesurfaces at the molecular scale. I signed up for the Campus Nobel as it offers a uniqueopportunity to listen to and speak with several distinguished scientists in a manner notusually available to a young researcher.
