Research topic: "Synthesis of Gold(I) Complexes with Ortho-Boronatephosphine Ligands for the Development of the Enantioselective Gold(I)-Catalyzed Transformations"
Ekaterina Smirnova obtained her degree in chemistry at the Saint Petersburg StateUniversity in 2011. She is currently a PhD student in the research group of Prof.Antonio M. Echavarren in the Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ). Katya works on the discovery of new transition metal-catalyzed reactions.
