Over the last few years my research interests have been focused on the development of new methodologies for extracting compounds from highly complex matrices, the optimization of chromatographic conditions for their separation and their further detection and quantification by mass spectrometry. At the moment I am the LC-MS specialist at Metabolomics Platform where I run untargeted LC-MS analysis trying to spot the differences between two or more groups. Besides, we use the differences observed to unravel the biochemical process involved in the progression of a disease.

I signed up to the “Southern Catalonia Nobel Campus” because I do believe this is a unique opportunity to be in close contact with some of the most relevant researchers in the world and learn from their advices. Moreover, the mix of networking both with them as well as leaders from the industry makes this event very appealing to those young researcher willing to project their scientific career further.
