PhD student at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili
Research topic: Synthesis and characterization of polymers
Camilo Zúñiga was born in Bogotá, Colombia in 1984. He received his B.Sc. degree in Chemical Engineering in 2007 and then in 2009 he received his M.Sc degree in High Specialization in Plastics and Rubber from the International University Menéndez Pelayo and CSIC in Madrid. He is currently a 3rd year Ph.D student at the Laboratory of Sustainable Polymers of the University Rovira i Virgili. His Ph.D. research is focused on the synthesis of new polybenzoxazine materials from renewable resources as well as their potential applications. He is interested in attend the CEICS Nobel Campus because it is an important opportunity to interchange opinions with different scientists and receive a value feedback about his thesis project.
